Keep your options open.  Don’t stay focused on that “ideal” position.  You never know what other various positions that could use your skill sets and passions!

Happy Hump Day!

I hope your week is going well and have an Awesome Day!

You never know how someone can creatively repurpose your skill set and offer you a job you don’t even know exists, but could be the job of your dreams!

      Very true Susan! Thank you!

More than once a job that I took as a fill-in (for them and for me) that was much less than my ideal position became something that was better than what I was looking for.

      Awesome example Denise! Thanks!

Great quote! There have been several times where I’ve been bummed about “missed” opportunities, only to have something better come along later.

Thanks Debbie. I was really bummed from not getting a call back after a meeting last week. Not even a response from a follow up email and phone call. I know it will work out for the best though…it just makes us tougher in the mean time! :-D

I often wonder about missed opportunities. It’s what you make with what you have now that matters the most.

Very true Suki! With my previous job I traveled constantly. But I have been very happy being home with my family and making new friends. I know the right position is out there that will enable me to have a balance. Thank you!
